Laura Jean Swartz Obituary
Laura Jean Swartz, 59, of Charlotte NC passed from this earthly life on June 7, 2022. She was known as a free spirit who was determined to live life in her own way.
Laura was born on August 20, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio. She moved to Charlotte in 1974.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob Swartz Sr and Carol Noonan Swartz; sisters Leslie Christine Swartz and Linda Carol Harden.
Laura is survived by her 3 children: Douglas Dellinger of Charlotte NC, Wendy Dellinger of Charlotte NC and Mark Dellinger (partner Lisa Hooper) of Belmont NC; brothers Bob Swartz Jr of Weddington NC, Mark Saunders of Cartersville GA, Keith Swartz of Indian Land SC and Jeff Swartz of Charlotte NC; sisters Lisa Swartz of Fort Mill SC, Marye Saunders of San Antonio TX and Niki Hansen of Independence OR as well as 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to give special thanks to Colleen Brady, Liz Clasen-Kelly and the staff at MeckFUSE and Roof Above who provided Laura with guidance, care and attention over the past 6 years.
