He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Richard McCoy; his mother Geraldine Connelly Perry; his stepmother Dixie Perry (Perry); his granddaughter Cara Leigh McCarthy; his grandparents, Bessie Cavin Perry and Judge Avery Perry; his daughter Jennifer McCarthy (Scott); his granddaughters, Courtney and Jenna McCarthy; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Blake; his sisters, Anne Reed of Charlotte, NC, Cathy Mork and Jarl Mork; his nieces, Lauren and Kristen (Brian); and his great-nieces, Olivia and Fiona. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews and life long friends.
