She was predeceased by: her husband William Henry Smith; and her parents, Barnes Thompson Moore and Otelia June Simmons Moore. She is survived by: her former husband Duncan Dallas McDuffie; her daughters, Susan Pechar (Mike), Mary McDuffie-Cary and Archer Kitchings (Duane); her stepdaughters, Sandra Greene of Greensboro, NC and Susan Land (Lane); her grandchildren, Matthew Pechar, Cameron Carter (Melanie), Sara Cary (Josh Hickok), James Kitchings, Joshua Kitchings, Michael Greene (Tanya) and Anna Olenar (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Blakeley, Addison Hickok, Noel Greene, Lily, Jack, Tate Hughes, Ford and Georgia Olenar.
