She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Engel and Elizabeth Engel; her former husband William Wilson (Bill); and her husband Jerry Grant. She is survived by: her son Robert Wilson (Bob); her daughter-in-law Robin Wilson; her grandchildren, William Wilson (Billy), Jennifer Wilson (Jenny) and Alexander Wilson (Alex); her siblings, Rev. Richard Engel (Sandy) of Florida, Timothy Engel (Candy) of North Carolina, Phillip Engel (Sandi) of Virginia, Lorna (Donald Williams), Martha Whalen of Virginia and Karen (Phil Bickel) of Indiana; and her sister-in-law Terry Wilson Jones (William) of Virginia. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
