It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Sawyer of Matthews, North Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Franklin S. Miller and Esther Irene Dare; her husband Raymond M. Sawyer; her sister Miranda M. Zwicker (Jack) of Wellsburg; her children, Holly I. Sawyer of Mint Hill and Ryan F. Sawyer (Elizabeth) of Richmond, Virginia.; and her grandchildren, Landon, Jenna Sawyer and Charlie Laird. She was also cherished by her children's friends.
