He is survived by: his wife Nell; his daughter Sara Beth Price (Eric) of Matthews; his granddaughters, Abigayle and Carson; and his siblings, Sybil Owen (Wayne) of Charlotte and Luke Baker (Pam) of Gibsonville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
