He is survived by: his sons, Chris Sweeny of Missouri, John Sweeny (Stephanie Sweeny) of Virginia and Jason Perkins (Alisa Perkins) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Nikki Sweeny, Caylen, Pierce Sweeny, JD Perkins and Elisabeth Perkins; and his siblings, Ellis Perkins and Mary Williamson.
