Helms; his stepfathers, Herman Hemby and Thomas Manus; his brother Hoyle "Buddy" Helms; his granddaughters, Lauren Evgenia Helms and Sophia Alexandria Helms; his wife Diann Kindley Helms; his children, Jerry "Wayne" Helms, Jr. of Midland, April Michelle Autry (Matt) of Weddington and Zachary Lloyd Helms of Colorado; his grandchildren, Jordan Wayne Helms of Indian Trail, Emma Rylee Helms of Indian Trail, Makalya Jade Helms of Indian Trail, Caleb Marcus Autry of Weddington and Kayden Jerry Helms of Weddington; and his siblings, Jo Ann Lowder (Tom) of Midland, Linda "Susie" Jarrell (Tom) of Harrisburg, Sandy Tudor (Tom) of Charlotte, Debbie Redmond (Doug) of Charlotte and Rich Helms (Dana) of Weddington.
