She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennings Jackson and Lena Fine Jackson; and her brothers, Herman Jackson, Norris Jackson and Glen Jackson.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Alvin Hough; her children, Katherine Hough Mathison (David), Brenda Hough Fischer (Robert) and Joseph Brian Hough (Jennifer Boyd); her grandsons, Robert Nathanael Fischer and Christian Jacob Fischer; and her sister Ruth Jackson Loudermilk.
