He is survived by: his son James H. Tomberlin, Jr. (Tina) of Newland, NC; his granddaughter Lindsey Shelton (Johnathan) of Monroe, NC; his great grandchildren, Jaxson Shelton of Monroe, NC., Kyelynn Laney of Monroe, NC. and Harlowe Shelton of Monroe, NC.; his stepgranddaughters, Allison Hinson (Robbie) and Meghan Conner (Charlie) of Marshville, NC; and his siblings, Wilburn Tomberlin, Faynell Tomberlin Greene of Monroe, NC., Peggy Tomberlin Hinson of Monroe, NC. and Doris Tomberlin Greene of Monroe, NC..
