It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Robinson of Matthews, North Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Robinson; and his siblings, Gene Robinson, Mary Alice Gilbert and Linda Clark. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Howard Robinson; his sons, Edward Robinson (Susan) and James Robinson (Terese); his siblings, Stephen "Butch" Carter and Lucy Cole; his grandchildren, Tyler Robinson (Jordan), Lauren Robinson Kaitlin Robinson (Bryson Rider) and Mary Meaghan Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Elise Robinson, James Tate Wallace and John Gray Wallace.
