He is survived by: his wife Jae Ok Shim; his children, Chris Shim (Sora), Tom Doo Chin Shim and Jean So (Chong); his siblings, Jae Young Shim (Jung Sook), Jae Hyok Shim (Jeong Hyun), Ann Lee (Peter) and Kris Zemla (David); and his grandchildren, Nolan Hyunbo Shim, Parker Yunbo Shim, Dylan Jinbo Shim, Christian Jiyoon So and Emily Suhyan So. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
