With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Tanner Ransone (Matthews, North Carolina), born in Fairfax, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2024 at the age of 29. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joan Gamby and George Messick Sr.; and his stepgrandfather Floyd Gamby. He is survived by: his mother Cindy Ransone; his sister Kayce Ransone Bender (Kyle); his aunt Juanita Butner (Lynn); his uncles, Glen Messick, George Messick, Rick Messick (Debbie) and Tim Messick; and his cousins, Kayla Hoff, Bobbie Messick, Chad Messick, Shay Walters, Josh Messick and Braylen Butner. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers Jack would want you to help two of the places that his church supports.

So many people loved him and talked about him constantly. Even though we didn’t get to know each other personally, I remember all of that like it was yesterday. Jack has a home in the hearts of many.
