He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Cofty and Bebe Cofty. He is survived by: his wife Lenora Ann Jones; his children, Chuck Jr., Gary (JoAnn) of Charlotte and Tracy Blanton (Art) of Charlotte; his brother Chris Cofty (Ginger); his cousins, John Cofty, Don Cofty and Doug Cofty; and his grandchildren, Chuck Cofty III, Jesse Cofty, Caleb Cofty, Anna Cofty, Alexandria Cofty, Dylan Cofty, Daniel Cofty, Bethany Spears, Gary Cofty, Jr., Tyler Cofty, Kaitlyn Cofty, Art Blanton Jr., Rebekah Webb, Andy Blanton and Katherine Blanton.
