He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lamar Rowell and Jane Rowell; his former spouse Estell; his wife Jenine; his children, Dianne Hinson, Mitchell (Beverly Rowell) and Mark (Sheila Rowell); his grandchildren, Carey, Marie (Andrew), Christopher (Kara), Candance, Sarah (Adam), Laura (Tim), Matthew and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Nolan, Andi, Alexa, Rayden, Riley, Cade, Glade, Estell, Bryson, Brayden, Lucas, Mason and Reece; and his siblings, Bryan, Elizabeth, Margaret, Charlie and Laverne.
He is survived by: his brother John "Keets" Rowell.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Forest Lawn East Cemetery (3709 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104).
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the American Kidney Foundation.
