It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Sue Jones of Matthews, North Carolina, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Daniel Kumpe and Helen Lorine Grant; her husband Paul Edward Jones; and her son Michael Edward Jones. She is survived by: her pet Prissy "PJ" Jones of Matthews; her children, Paul William Jones (Chrissy) of West Covina, Steven Charles Jones (Sarah) of Rock Hill, Diana Lee Daniel (Doug) of Fort Myers and Gloria "Sam" Whiteside of Mint Hill; and her sister Claudette Carrizosa (Steve) of Los Angeles. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
