She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Carter and Dora Carter; and her husband Wilbur Woodlief (Woody). She is survived by: her brother Pruette Carter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center (5505 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212-5503). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Evergreen City Cemetery (4426 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205).
