With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Jean Hensley (Matthews, North Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Elliott and Jeanette Reed Elliott; and her husband Robert. She is survived by: her daughter Tamra Davis (Kenneth) of Matthews; and her granddaughter Kristina Davis of Matthews. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In honor of her lifetime of nursing and caring for others, the family respectfully requests memorials in Emma's name be made to the Hospice Program of Mission Memorial Hospital, https://missionhealth.org or any local charity of the your choice that deals with nursing, hospice or memory care.
