She was predeceased by: her husband Harris Green Lee Rea II; and her son Harris Green Lea Rea III. She is survived by: her brother Well Drilling; her daughters-in-law, Shirani and Carmon Rea of New Orleans, Louisiana.; her children, Martha Rea Calkins (Edward) of Charlotte, Michele Calkins Baucom (Jeff) of Albemarle, Windy Calkins Frank (Erik) of Indian Trail, Tammy Douglas of Fort Mill, Wesley Calkins of Lewisville, Bonny Douglas Rayon (Mariano) of San Diego, California, LuAnne Rea of Charlotte, Mark Odell Rea of Indian Trail and Robin Rea Carico; her granddaughter Crystal Carico of Indian Trail; and also, Harris Green Lee Rea IV and Lillie McCall Rea. She is also survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the David Rea Memorial fund at Providence Presbyterian Church.
