He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Watson Fuller and Mary Gladys Thompson; his wife Jane Dixon; his son Donald Jr.; and his grandson Donald III (Jane).

He is survived by: his daughter Carol Ritter; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Fuller Knox and Andrew Charles Ritter; and his sister Sharon E Fuller Hensley.
