We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2023, at the age of 74, Diedre Irvin Alapeck of Matthews, North Carolina, born in Monroe, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Irvin and Irene Nicholson Irvin. She is survived by: her husband Richard Alapeck of Mint Hill, NC; her children, Jeff Price (Caroline) of Matthews, Jena and Mark Price of Monroe; her grandson Luke; her siblings, Sheila Irvin of Charlotte, Sandra Hovis of Charlotte and Mike Irvin of Monroe; and her stepchildren, Richard Alapeck, Scott Alapeck and Lisa Alapeck. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In honor of the love and care shown to her in her final earthly days, the family respectfully request any memorials or donations in Deidre's name be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110.
