He is survived by: his former wife Terri Penninger Denning; his son Brian David Denning; his grandson Jacob Douglas Denning; his sister Catherine Denning Sams; his nephew Joshua Sams (Amelia); his sister Anne Denning Myers; his nephew Michael Morris; his niece Becky Miller (Bryan); and his close friends, Gary Best of Mount Olive and Steve DiStaola of Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
