He is survived by: his son David (Martha); his wife Marty of Indian Trail, NC; his children, Wendy Allen (Eddie) of Monroe, NC and Guy Franklin of Indian Trail, NC; his grandchildren, Claire Franklin, Emmy and Addy Allen; his sister Pat Throckmorton (Randy) of Walnut Cove, NC; and his cousins, Charita Hill and Jerry Hauser.
