He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Graham Mitchum and Gradie Edwards Mitchum. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee Mitchum; and his children, Sam Mitchum (Pamela) and Patricia Mitchum Mattox (Jim). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
