It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Jennings McCotter III of Matthews, North Carolina, who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Charles Jennings may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles Jennings touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J McCotter, II and Frances Gray McCotter. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Weatherspoon (Will) of Raleigh, Laura Fricano (Jeff) of Charlotte and Craig McCotter of Bolivia; and his grandchildren, Emily, Hardy Weatherspoon, William, Andrew, Caroline Fricano, Jack and Josie McCotter.
