It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Wheeling Griffin of Matthews, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Austin and Faye Austin of Winston Salem, NC; her brothers, Gene and Joe Austin; her former husband Ray Hampton Wheeling of Monroe, NC; and her husband Elbert Griffin of Unionville, NC..
She is survived by: her children, Melinda W. Price (Tommy) of Weddington, NC and Michael R. Wheeling (Nina) of Weddington; her grandchildren, Lindsay Price Rendleman (Eric), Curt Wheeling (Ashley), Gina Wheeling Kalil (Darryl) and Adam Price (Ashley); and also Kenly Rendleman. She is also survived by her children and their spouses and grandchildren.
