He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Fox Smith and Effie Worrell Smith; and his sister Nancy Smith Turner. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Mitchell; and his children, Sue Bratton (Kevin Massey), Donna Adams (Rodger Adams) and Calvin Bryan Smith (Linda Smith). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
