It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Moore Mullen (Matthews, North Carolina), born in McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lane and Rosa Estelle McGehee Moore; her children, Charles Carroll Mullen, Jr. and Thomas Moore Mullen; and her siblings, Norwood, Elton, McGehee, John K, Thomas Moore, Elaine Moore Quillman and Pansy Moore Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Mullen Dougherty (Michael A. Dougherty); her granddaughter Carroll Thompson Vuncannon (Zac Vuncannon); her great grandchildren, Louella Elizabeth, Hazel Nora and Millie Rose; and her stepgrandchildren, Michael, Abbie, Gray, Riley Dougherty, Erin Dougherty, Chris Skibinski, Amy, Matt, Renny, Patrick Ingalls, Suzy, Brian, Christian and Molly Sleman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
