It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Lee Hunter of Matthews, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joe Lee, Annie Laura Murphy, Willie B and Nora Lee Hunter. He is survived by: his parents, Johney A Hunter and Willette Hunter (Murphy); his siblings, Travis Hunter and Johnnetta Hunter; and his close friend Loranda Hallums. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and four lovely nieces.
