With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara C. Martin of Matthews, North Carolina, born in Henry County, Virginia, who passed away on February 25, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Treavor Cox and Irene Cox (Spangler); and her siblings, Lorena Compton, Helen Eggleston, John, Tom, Sunnybuck and Jesse Cox.
She is survived by: her husband J. C. Martin; her children, Jay Martin (Pam), Bonnie Isaacson (Bond) and Kim Jorden (Jim); her grandchildren, Bond (Emily), Ben (Grace), Madelyn (Josh), Trey (Mary), Drew (Brittany), Hartley and Cole; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Magnolia, Isabel, Jackson, Drew and Harrison; and her siblings, Juanita Ramsey, Frances Hundley, Clara Mize (Jackie) and Kennon Cox (Martha).
