She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Reeves and Tallulah Leigh Jackson Reeves; her husband Cyrus Eugene Worthington; her son Gregory E. Worthington; her siblings, Nathan Reeves, Kellam Reeves and Vernon Reeves; and her stepsiblings, Cecil Gore, JC Gore, Esther Moses, Verna Gore, Hazel Gore, Wayman Gore, Bill Gore, Brooks Gore, Deloris McCumbee, Ken Gore and Wade Gore.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet W. Pecorella (Salvatore) of Matthews; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Ellis Worthington of Cerro Gordo; her grandchildren, Jared H. Worthington (Katie), Sal Pecorella (Karissa), Benjamin E. Worthington (Anna Grace) and Anna P. Renne (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Camden Worthington, Camillo Pecorella, Vivian Worthington and Anthony Renne; her stepsiblings, Paul Gore of Shallotte and Shelby Gore Linton of Thortown, IN; her sisters-in-law, Faye Gore of Nakina and Jane Gore of Nakina; and her close friend Gervais Long.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
