It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Holmes Meyers of Matthews, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Julia Emerald Holmes; her grandmother Mary Margaret Cheney; her husband Donald J. Meyers (Navy); and her sisters, Marcia H. Swan and Mary Kathryn Holmes Burke.
She is survived by: her aunts, Anne and Dorothy Cheney; her children, Julie Miller (David) of Matthews, NC, Cindy Clark of Richmond, VA, George Meyers of Matthews, NC, Karen Nelligan (James) of Boston, MA, Donald Meyers (Elena) of San Jose, CA, Douglas Meyers (Jennifer) of Clemmons, NC, Susan Bernardo (Donald) of Matthews, NC, Theresa Cordell (Todd) of Gaithersburg, MD and Kevin Meyers (Erin) of San Anselmo, CA; and her grandchildren, Cal (Jessica), Elaine, Meghan, Jack, Erin, Rachel, Nicholas, Leah, Allison, Quinn, Elle and Lucas. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (549 Washington St, Norwood, MA 02062).
