He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Cothran, Sr. and Ada Mae Thomas Simpson. He is survived by: his children, Alja Cothran Cardin (Temekia) and Myrika Gary; his grandchildren, Keyvon, Alja and Miracle; and his siblings, Jasper Cothran (Margaret) and Jacqueline Cothran. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Community Mortuary (102 Marion Ave, Spartanburg, SC 29306). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at the Heritage Memorial Gardens (3901 S Church St Ext, Roebuck, SC 29376).
