He was predeceased by: his parent S. M. Jacobs; his grandmother Illa Mae; and his mother Mrs Ozella Strickland Barrow of Spartanburg. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Lynn Clark (Ronnie) of Prospect, Sherrie Futrell of Charlotte, Kasey Mae Hunt (Garrick) of Shannon, Kelley Lynn Locklear (Cameron) of Pembroke and Michael Jacobs of Maxton; and his siblings, Billie Jacobs of Marston, Patsy Jacobs of Red Springs and Carol Ann Jacobs of Rockingham. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
