With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Alden Smith of Marston, North Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Felton Smith, Sr.; her children, Felton Smith, Jr. and Doris Ann Smith Moon; and her sisters, Marguerite Rivers, Betty Jo Foley and Peggy Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amasa Crawford and Lilia Campbell Alden of Marston, NC; her son-in-law Jim Moon of Pinehurst; her grandson Mark Moon (Danielle) of Maryland; her great grandchildren, Aidan and Colin Moon of Maryland; and her sisters, Priscilla Lewis of Marston, Pasty Smith of Charlotte, Jeannie Baldwin of Rockingham and Elsie Edmunds of Hamlet.
