She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur W. Hiott and Verta Mae Lail Hiott; her siblings, Cynthia Gail Hiott, Mary Hiott Hildreth (John), Joan Hiott Spratt (Clyde), Arthur Charles Hiott, James Neal Hiott and Bruce Hiott (Dottie); and her daughter Wendy McLaurin Dennis.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Keith McLaurin; her daughter Melonie Anne McLaurin; her grandchildren, Charles Alexander Heeley (Christopher), Victoria "Tori" Elizabeth Brigman and Jerry Wayne "Tripp" Brigman III; and her sisters, Kay Hiott Eason (John) and Becky Hiott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and "adopted" grandchildren.
