She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Locklear and Velton Chavis; and her brothers, Ronnie Chavis and Dickey Chavis. She is survived by: her brothers-in-law, Gerald Grandy, Maurice Rushing and Mickey Robinson; her husband Scotty Rushing; her children, Debbie McKenzie and Mitchell Mckenzie (Amanda); her grandson Jayden McKenzie; and her siblings, Connie Grandy and Monnie Chavis (JJ).
