She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Jackson Brewer and Flora A. Brewer; her husbands, James Hartsell and Melvin Helms; and her siblings, Loyd Brewer, Damon Brewer, Doris Brewer Upchurch and Ben Brewer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gwen Jones (Steve) and Cindy Hayes (Mike); her grandchildren, Josh Jones (Nicole), Erin Rushing (Brock) and Micaela Hayes (Scott); and her great grandchildren, Shepherd and Sullivan Rushing.
