He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Nathaniel and Ellen Ramelle Medlin Bivens; his grandson Daniel Rick Pressley; and his great grandchild Chandler Bryce Pressley. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Williams Bivens; his daughters, Cindy Tutterow (Kelly) of Bradenton, FL, Debbie Pressley (Rick) of Monroe, Carol Johnson (Eric) of Monroe and Denise Stegall (Tommy) of Marshville; his grandchildren, Timothy Pressley (Kelli), Sarah Bailey (Mike), Ashley Howard (Corey), Zack Tutterow (Kelly), Amber Randall (Henry), Sam Starnes, Alice Melton (Wyatt), Nicholas Tutterow, Cassidy Helms (Daniel), Cade and Kendall Stegall; his siblings, Lorraine Chandler and Tommy Bivens (Shannon); and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Moore, Doris Williams and Mae Dean Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
