He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Kiker and Lillian Greene Kiker; his wife Loraine Williams Kiker; his stepsons, Shelton Whitley and Lanny Whitley; and his brother Jerry Kiker.

He is survived by: his stepson Dennis Whitley (Darlene); his children, Tim Kiker (Karen) and Paula Kiker Hinson (David); his daughters-in-law, Bobbi Swinson and Becky Thomas Whitley; and his siblings, Hazel Kiker, Ethel McMain (Bobby) and Wade Kiker (Brenda). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
