He is survived by: his parents, Joe Pierce and Jonnie Pierce; his children, Marcus Pierce and Taylor Pierce; his sister Wendy Tarlton (Joe Don); his nieces and nephews, Marley and Joe; his sister Jodi Melton (Dillon); his nieces and nephews, Olivia, Blake and Claire; and his pets, Samson and Delilah.

In lieu of flowers, Marc would prefer donations be made to a local family in need of the donor's choice or to "Hands of Sportsman" in Salisbury, North Carolina.
