He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Johnny Martin and Linda Snead Martin; and his brother John Charles Martin. He is survived by: his wife Carlesa Martin; his sons, Scott Martin (Cynthia) and Chris Martin; his grandchildren, Noah Martin, Mackenzie Martin, Lena Bentley-Morton and Elija Curtis; and his stepmother Pam Rook Martin.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
