He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bunyan Pierce and Doris Harris Pierce; and his son Marc Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Jonnie Simpson Pierce; his daughters, Wendy Tarlton (Joe Don) and Jodi Melton (Dillon); his grandchildren, Marcus, Marley, Olivia, Taylor, Joe, Blake and Claire; and his brother Jerry Pierce (Cindy).
