She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Nelson and Blanche Tedder Nelson; her husband William "Bill" Burchell Ward; and her grandson Dustin Manus. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Ward Gill (Jody) and Scott Burchell Ward; her granddaughter Brandi Manus; her great grandchildren, Trenton Manus, Rylan Manus, Thomas Manus and Lochlan Acker; and also Elizabeth Daley.
