She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Thomas Porter and Maggie Madora Miller Porter; her husband Rufus; her children, Patricia Ritt, Judy Jerome, Johnny Jerome and Jerry Jerome; her grandsons, Jonathan Wellons and Randy Ritt; her great grandchild Jennifer Miles Cook; and her sons-in-law, Bruce Airington, Glenn Davis and David Wellons, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Davis, Mildred Wellons and Brenda Airington. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and great great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Union Grove Baptist Church (2424 Old Lawyers Rd, Marshville, NC 28103).
