She is survived by: her children, Bryant Allen (Keva Waters) of Marshville, NC and Jennifer Rushing of Monroe, NC; and her sisters, Marvine Kirkpatrick-Williams of Newark, NJ and Lois Sturdivant of Wingate, NC. She is also survived by Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and other friends.
