She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Benson Allen and Lela Caudle Allen; and her husband Joe. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Johnson (Jim) and Robyn Thomas (Adam); her grandchildren, Jimmy Johnson (Megan), Katie Johnson, Gabriel Rodriguez, Adrian Rodriguez, Awna Thomas and Grey Thomas; her sister Carolyn Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Smith (Arnold) and Becky Allen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
