She was predeceased by: her parents, Edger Green Thomas and Mary Lee Gaddy Thomas; her husband Reece Hamilton; her daughter Debra Smith; and her siblings, Max Thomas, Herbert Thomas and Willie Ruth Baucom.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Hamilton (Lisa), Sharon Davis (Larry) and Lori Helms; her grandchildren, Dawn Smith Reynolds, Anita Chris (Justin), Jennifer Williams (Mike), Brent Davis (Sara), Terry Leigh (Erin), Chase Hamilton (Autumn), Bliss Plyler (Alex) and Stone Hamilton (Erika); and her great grandchildren, Audriana, Zach, Leanne (Mason), Ella, Parker, Sadie, Ethan, Beau, Henry and Hallie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hamilton Cross Road Baptist Church, 6133 Old Goldmine Road, Marshville, NC 28103.
