She was predeceased by: her parents, James Crawford Griffin and Ocie Rowell Griffin; her husband Houston J. McLain; her children, Sandy Jamerson, Rev. Gary McLain and Cynthia Gail McLain; her granddaughter Wendy Helms; her great grandchild Noah Helms; and her siblings, Frankie Mae Smith and Ron Griffin.
She is survived by: her son Steve McLain (Ginger) of Monroe; her daughter-in-law Debbie McLain; and her siblings, Earl Griffin of Monroe and Faye Godwin of Monroe. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
