Zeno Herbert Ponder Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zeno Herbert Ponder Jr. (Marshall, North Carolina), born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeno Herbert, Sr. and Nina Lou Rustin Ponder; and his brother Ralph Ponder. He is survived by: his wife Shirley B Ponder; his cousin Debbie Ponder; his great-nephew Kalan Cody; his siblings-in-law, Linda Proffitt (Floyd), Lorraine Cody (Teddy), Dolores Jones (Mike), Bobby Bradley (Shirley) and Ervin Roberts; and his pet Caleigh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19, the family will not have visitation and a private graveside service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SPCA-Albrecht Center, PO Box 769, Aiken, SC 29802-0769 or to NC State University, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Raleigh, NC.
